Father's Day Weekend Lobster Dinner-Saturday June 17th-5pm to 7pm

Our hall caterer Renzi’s Catering will be holding a Father's Day Weekend Lobster Dinner Saturday June 17th in our hall The Ballroom at Bethel 3737 Foulk Road Garnet Valley, PA 19060. There will be one seating from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The event is reservation only and there are no walk-ins. The menu includes 1/2 lobster stuffed with crab imperial (limit one per guest), all you can eat steamed peel and eat shrimp, mussels marinara, Louisiana crawfish, potatoes, corn, peppered cabbage, desserts, BYOB, coffee and soft drinks. Pricing is $40 per adult. Children under 12 are $30.00 per person with lobster and $20 without lobster. Deadline for reservations is Thursday June 15th

Carnival Returns April 25th thru April 29th

The Bethel Fire Company will be holding its annual Carnival starting Tuesday night April 25th thru Saturday night April 29th from 6pm – 10pm at the firehouse. Come enjoy rides, food and games. Proceeds benefit our all volunteer fire department.

Ride all night wristbands can be purchased each evening for $25 at the ticket booths.

Pre-Order your wristbands for $5 dollars off per wristband. Ride all night for $20 per person. All pre-orders must be purchased before April 24th. You may pre-order your wristband by following the link below.

Passing of 60 Year Active Member Charles H. Kitselman

Charles H. Kitselman Jr., age 83 of Garnet Valley, PA passed away peacefully on March 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born to the late Charles H. Sr. & Florence Taylor Kitselman, he had been a resident for the past 54 years in Bethel Twp., PA. Charles served in the Army and later received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University. Charles retired from Dupont Co. after 36 years where he was a Drafting Engineer. He was an active member of the Bethel Fire Company for 60 years where he served in many capacities including Fire House Chaplain and Fire Police Captain. Passing of 30 Year Active Member Ronald "Pop Pop" Windsor

Ronald E. “Pop Pop” Windsor, age 78 of North Wilmington, DE died peacefully on January 30, 2017. Born to the late Luther & Martha Dawson Windsor, Ron was a lifelong resident of Wilmington, DE. A veteran, Ron served in the U.S. Army. Ron was a plumber by trade and was employed by EVCO Inc. for 30 years. Ron was 30-year active member of the Bethel Township Hose Co. No.1 and formerly served as Fire Police Captain. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and summers at Wildwood Beach. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Ronald “Corky” Windsor Jr. who died in 2009 and 2 sisters, Bernice Russell and Alice Spence. Building Fire in Concord Township

Building Fire in Concord Township

Christmas Day Sunday December 25th at approximately 1330hrs the company was dispatched as part of a mutual aid assignment to assist Concordville Fire Co. (59) with a building fire on Marlborough Lane in Concord Township. Engine 66-1 and Engine 66-3 with 12 members made the response. Engine 66-1 arrived via Merion Drive and dropped a secondary 5 inch supply line from the hydrant into the scene. Engine 66-3 pumped from the hydrant into the scene. Bethel crews were on scene for approximately 2 ½ hours assisting with various fireground tasks before returning, cleaning and restoring the apparatus.
