Friday evening September 24th just after 2200hrs the company along with Ogden (55), Boothwyn (40), Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) and the Green Ridge (63) Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) were dispatched to Robins Road in Bethel Township for a building fire.
Engine 66-3 with a crew of 6 under the command of Assistant Chief John Heacock (66-9B) made the response. Engine 66-3 arrived with nothing evident. Engine 66-1 arrived next and stood by at the hydrant. The interior crew reported a malfunctioning HVAC unit. Power to the unit was secured and Assistant Chief Heacock held the assignment to Bethel units. The company was available within 30 minutes.
