The company started off a full slate weekend a little after 1130hrs Friday morning with an automatic fire alarm call to 4 Hillman Drive in the Concordville (59) area. The alarm was accidentally tripped and the response was held to Engine 59-2 for the investigation.

Friday afternoon just after 1300hrs the company along with Claymont (NCC 13), Brandywine Hundred (NCC 11), Boothwyn (40) and Ogden (55) were dispatched to assist Talleyville (NCC 25) on a working house fire at 1915 Dorcet Road in the North Graylyn Crest section of Talleyville. Ladder 25-7 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the garage. Rescue 66 made the response and assisted with salvage and overhaul operations. The Rescue returned to station around 1500hrs. Thank you to Eddystone Fire Co. (12) for covering while the rescue was committed. Special thanks to Lou Angeli for the pictures from the Talleyville fire. Check out some of Lou's work on the web at www.louangeli.com.

Friday evening at 1700hrs the company returned the favor to Eddystone Fire Co. as Engine 66-1 covered Eddystone until 2300hrs. Engine 66-1 received no calls for service. While Engine 66-1 covered Eddystone a few members were busy at the station readying Engine 66-3 for Saturday's Delaware County Fireman's Association (DCFA) parade.

Saturday morning the Rescue ran an automatic fire alarm call to 100 Maris Grove Way in the Concordville (59) area as Engine 66-1 and Engine 66-3 took part in the DCFA parade. The Rescue was returned enroute as the assignment was held to Concordville (59) units. This year the DCFA parade was hosted by Aston-Beechwood (72). While at the DCFA parade Engine 66-3 brought home a third place trophy for "Best Appearing and Most Functional Engine 2000-2010." Thank you to all of the members who worked on the trucks and attended the parade. Special thanks to Mark J Walsh for providing us pictures from the parade. Just before 1800hrs Saturday evening the company and Medic 66-7 (Crozer EMS) were dispatched to the 1700 block of Ashbrooke Avenue in Bethel Township for an accident with entrapment. Rescue 66 under the command of Assistant Chief John Heacock (66-9B) made the response. Upon the Rescue's arrival there was no entrapment and the Rescue's crew secured the hazards while Medic 66-7 handled patient care. The Rescue was available within 30 minutes.

Sunday morning Siloam United Methodist Church located on Foulk Road across from the firehouse held a fireman's prayer service attended by the membership. Thank you to Siloam for holding the service and inviting the membership. Rounding out the weekend Sunday evening just after 2000hrs the company was dispatched to 1051 Baltimore Pike in the Concordville (59) area for an automatic fire alarm. The assignment was held to Engine 59-2 for the investigation.
